What kinds of events do you play?
We play almost anything that requires live entertainment. Including (but not limited to) Corporate events, Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions,Second Lines, Festivals, Fairs, Birthday parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Coutillions, and Night Clubs.
How many Pieces are in the band?
There are currently 12 pieces in the band. We always travel with all 12 pieces to events. Unfortunately we do not offer smaller band sizes for the full event, however, we can offer smaller ensembles within the event as an additional component of the overall entertainment. The Band consists of:
How much space do you need?
Ideally we like a stage area thats 24' wide by 16' deep. Anything bigger is certainly welcomed. Anything smaller will have to be approved by The Phunky Monkeys to ensure that we can adequately provide a high quality show with less room...We do offer to bring our own 24' x 16' staging for an additional $1,000
Will you learn a special song or songs for my event?
Absolutely! We want to make your event special and personalized. We do not take the cookie cutter approach. We typically will learn up to three new songs that are not currently on our list for your event.
Are you available for events outside of Louisiana?
Yes. The band can travel (and has travelled) anywhere in the world for an event. Obviously the logistics of the travel will determine additional costs outside of the normal band fee.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Yes! We are ready for any eventuality. Policy and Declaration page is available upon request.
What form of payments do you accept?
We prefer payment by check. There is no additonal cost to pay with this form. We do however accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Cash app, Venmo and of course cash. We do not discount for cash as we report all our earnings to Uncle Sam. Also there is a convenience fee to use credit cards and Pay Pal.
