Isaac Patrick Jolly is a proud New Orleans transplant hailing originally from Huntsville, AL.  Isaac moved to New Orleans to build his musical career.  At a young age, Isaac composed music and fronted for his own bands.  After Hurricane Katrina, Isaac met the Johnson brothers – Steven “Coolbone” and Ronell, who brought their family, friends and the New Orleans culture to Hunstville, thus paving a clear path for a young, talented, passionate Isaac.

In February 2015, Isaac made the move to New Orleans from Mobile after studying music business at the University of South Alabama, Isaac plays several instruments and is classically trained on trumpet.  He has a deep knowledge of the home-grown New Orleans music styles, including traditional jazz, classic jazz and street brass band.  And, this knowledge coupled with his standard of excellence led him to the Phunky Monkeys.
