After falling in love with music at a young age, Michael Karcher studied guitar in college and moved to New York City to concentrate on original music. He was fortunate to play many NYC clubs including CBGB's and BB Kings. Following that adventure Karch moved on to working in orchestra pits for both national and international tours of “Hairspray”, “Mamma Mia”, “The Bodyguard” and many others. Karch’s guitar playing has brought him all over the world but he’s thrilled to have found a permanent home in New Orleans with the Phunky Monkeys! @karchguitar
